Cemetery Monument Dedication September 13, 2026

Please join the Village of Bishop Hill and the Old Settlers Association on Sunday, September 13,2026 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bishop Hill Cemetery for a dedication of a new monument honoring all Swedish settlers lying in unmarked graves.

This will be followed by an Ice Cream Social being sponsored by the Bishop Hill United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., concluding with a preservation techniques presented by Ryley Lamb, Bishop Hill Site Services Specialist ll.
