Bishop Hill is a village located in Henry County, Illinois, United States, along the South Edwards River. The village has ten part-time employees. Nine of those employees are board members, and one is a certified water operator. The board of trustees convenes on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Bishop Hill pump house, next to the water tower.
The village receives funding from the State of Illinois through taxes on Sales, Motor Fuel, Income, Use, Personal Property Replacement, Cannabis, and Video Gaming totaling $54,400 for Fiscal Year 26 ending April 30, 2026. An additional $8,000 is received annually through tax levy of your personal property taxes in Henry County.
